Reis Strikes Real Estate Market Research Distribution Deal with Thomson Reuters

Reis (REIS) says it has signed an agreement with Thomson Reuters (TRI) to distribute comprehensive market information, produced by REIS’ research analysts, through the TRI platform. According to REIS, the agreement represents its long term strategy designed to broaden its exposure beyond the core of commercial real estate professionals who are the company’s traditional clients. REIS shares are down 0.51% to .78, while TRI shares are up 1.09% to .93.

Question by Butterfly Diva: What qualifications should I have to make it in Commercial Real Estate?
I would like to know where I could find more information on how I can become involved with Commercial Real Estate. I have some interest in the research portion of the field, but i would like to do sales as well. I am aware of the requirements for getting a Real Estate license, but where do I go from there to get started? Thank you in advance.

You will need to acquire the CCIM designation. I think they have their own website. Best of luck to you.
