I have a commercial real estate license and would like to transfer to the residential side. I was wondering which agency people would recommend based on assistance given when needed, office charges and commission splits. I’ve been told Real Estate One is fair and a good office to work for. Thanks for the help

there is no residential real estate market in Detroit – it is probably the worst area in the country – no jobs, so no one buying and houses are only selling for like ,000 – when you split the commission 4 ways, you would only see 0 per sale before expenses – IF you sell any

Eager to know the top cites in America where one can safely invest? Here are the best real estate markets in the entire country according to a recent report from Business 2.0 Magazine. The November 2006 edition of the magazine lists the top ten cities that are ideal to buy a home. These are – Panama City and Vero Beach in Florida, Bridgeport in Connecticut, Lakeland in Florida, McAllen in Texas, San Luis Obispo in California, Wilmington in North Carolina, Manchester in New Hampshire, Fort Collins in Colorado and Atlanta in Georgia. The report cites the appreciation rates of home prices projected over a period of five years.
Florida enjoys the status of having three of the top four cities to invest in. Panama City, which tops the list of best places to buy real estate is expected to have a real estate appreciation of 72% over the next five years. Question by Ryan 1: Which real estate companies are best for new agents?
I’m planning on getting my real estate agents license in the next few weeks. I’ve heard that Century 21 and some other companies have their own courses. Is it better to attend their course or just a regular local real estate school. Also what companies are good for new agents.
Any advice you can give is appreciated! Thanks!
Oh and I’ll be getting my license in Tenessee.

You can take the courses through a state-approved online/correspondence course. In California, it was about 0 or so for the basic courses to pass DRE exam. If you are good studying on your own, this is a great way to get through it fast. If you’re better in a classroom environment where you can ask questions, then pursue that option.
I can’t recommend a particular company to hang your license with. You’ll want to research the desk fees, commission splits, what type of new agent training they have available, transaction assistance, etc. There are a lot of not-busy licensed agents right now, so you may be best served finding a small company that will help train you vs. a big name brokerage where you have to pay high fees and no one will speak to you.

I am looking for a list of free websites that I can advertise my commercial rental properties on that I could get a good response to. I do already know about craigslist. I was just wondering if there are any others out there as good as craigslist. Thanks in advance for any answers to this question.

I’m a college student in Hawaii who wants to become a commercial real estate broker.. I don;t know if i should stay in honolulu or head back to the mainland where i am from.. Would I find it easier to break into the business in a major city in California? With a college degree in finance and a desire to succede what are my chances for success in this industry? Also what are some other careers in commercial real estate?

Hi here’s my opinion on where commercial real estate will be booming.
1. Austin,Houston,Dallas, Texas
2. Jacksonville,Panama City,Florida
3. Las Vegas,Nevada
You need to be near major cities like these that I feel haven’t peaked yet, especially in texas and florida. I would steer clear of California, too over priced.
If I were you I’d also consider investment banking in NYcity, some of these guys make 0,000 just in bonuses. Best of luck man.

Personally, I think the best places to work would be, in no particular order -
Shinseki Real Estate Investment Group, Minatoku, Tokyo
Gordon & Glaever, London
Golden Shower Real Estate, Shanghai
