Question by curiousarcher: Which website can I find the electrical symbols used in residential, commercial, and industrial units?
From which website can I find the Electrical symbols used in the wiring of residential, commercial, and industrial units? I need this reference for my research work. Also where can I find the best site for the types of wiring devices.

I found a sybols chart here:

It appears to predominantly cover residential aspect.

These were others I came across. They are mainly reference sites, but I’m not certain how helpful they will be.

I didn’t have much luck finding specific sites dedicated to industrial or commercial electrical symbols. Most of the stuff I came across were sites selling books and materials on the subject, but not any site that actually showed any useful information or lessons.

If you do a google search on “Electrical Symbols” you’ll find a bunch more links to search trough, plus the sub-searches at the bottom have a link for “Industrial Electrical Symbols” that will take you to those lists of results, but like I said out of the ones I saw there wasn’t much useful info.

I have a background in electronics and am familiar with basic electrical stuff, but I’ve never done any major electrical work or studied anything specific to construction. There’s a chance that something more useful might pop out at you that I may have missed, so you should take another look for yourself. Hopefully the links I found will give you a head start for what you were looking for.
